bunga raya photo

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is the national flower of
Malaysia, called the Bunga Raya in Malay,
called 朱槿 in Chinese. Sembaruthi in Tamil,
is an evergreen shrub native in east Asia.

i spent some time to found it, to have a closer look
of it. i took this photo and post it during
our country 50th Merdeka celebration.

yen's tattoo design

i design this tattoo for a friend.
through out the process, i realized
she not ready to have a tattoo...
& she even don't like it so much.

she just try to be the rebel...
because the rebel challenges us to be
courageous enough to take responsibility
for who we are and to live our truth...

end up, i am glad that she reject this tattoo.
and she found something else rather then a tattoo.

p/s: tattoo only apply for those
who's very sure what they want to be.
or the right people do the right thing.

my friend chee meng having a great
exhibition during 2004,
ideally to redo some of the masterpieces
from local artist to become 3d sculpture.

recently did not catch up what he doing?
waiting to see more of his great work again.

...i create my female main character,
who's leggy - 183 cm, (kylie @ perfect dream)

in real my met few of my female friends
who's leggy too... and easy to become close friend.
like deja vu, already met? i confused...

...but i thought i like girls who's
small size, cute & dainty.

wah.... this caricature told me long time
to work out. maybe recently too busy
on my job, anyway, finally its done.

copy cat the composition from gorillaz.
me & my nephew - yang yang & his

is fun especially when job is rush.
still can squirt out some time to draw...

i used to be serve more female's client
rather then male's client.

but for this brand i serve him quite well.
some more getting a lot of feedback
from the China's OEM.

i should get more male clients,
to balance up my designing range...

by using a black feline (cat) as the metaphor,

same year, i started work in advertising agency...
started very busy life then,
i seldom do painting since that time.

end of 2003, i started my own design studio,
at 2005, i started back my fine art painting.
and now planning to enter art competition soon...
aim to get any art award again...
